This series traces its lineage back to Bob's time in New Mexico, where he created large sculptural pieces made of sand and resin that he would emboss with abstract glyphs reminiscent of cuneiform. His fascination with text and its abstract visual elements led him to revisit similar imagery again and again, extending of course to his digital work.
